Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. The salary range for this position is Rs 2200000 - Rs 2400000 per annum. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience and the job location is in Kolkata. This is a full-time position. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Retail Head to oversee and expand retail operations across stores. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences, achieving sales targets, and upholding operational excellence in a premium or luxury retail setting. The successful candidate will possess expertise in retail strategy, visual merchandising, team leadership, and customer-centric practices. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing retail growth strategies, managing sales targets and performance metrics, leading and training a team of managers and staff, ensuring excellent customer service, overseeing daily operations, maintaining brand consistency through visual merchandising, collaborating on marketing initiatives, and driving profitability. To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. You must have a minimum of 10 years of retail experience, including 4-5 years in a leadership role within jewellery, luxury, or fashion retail. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of expanding retail footprints, strong understanding of luxury retail operations, CRM, and omnichannel strategies.
