Job Description

As a Retail Growth Head/ Retail Growth Manager, you will be responsible for leading the discovery and execution of data-driven insights to drive business growth in the retail sector. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to develop actionable strategies that optimize business performance and identify growth opportunities. You will need to possess a blend of qualitative and quantitative analysis skills to influence decision-making at the highest levels. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive positioning. - Analyzing customer data to understand behavior patterns, purchasing drivers, and market demand. - Monitoring macroeconomic, cultural, and retail industry trends to provide strategic recommendations. - Leading segmentation analysis to understand different consumer demographics and their needs. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement growth opportunities. - Building and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide insights into customer conversion, profitability, revenue growth, and category-level improvements. - Analyzing retail sales and performance metrics to inform growth strategy and optimize product portfolios. - Identifying and assessing new markets, channels, and partnerships aligned with growth objectives. - Conducting competitive analysis and benchmarking to understand competitors" strengths and weaknesses. - Developing ongoing knowledge of market conditions, pricing strategies, and emerging retail technologies. - Providing regular reports and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. - Working with data teams to analyze large datasets and present findings to senior leadership. - Ensuring that insights are integrated into business operations and marketing initiatives. - Partnering with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align insights with business goals. - Using predictive models and scenario planning to provide forecasts and develop market entry strategies. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred), along with 5+ years of experience in growth, sales planning, or similar roles in retail or consumer goods. You should have strong analytical skills, expertise in market research tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms, and experience in developing and executing growth strategies based on market insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally are also essential. Key competencies required for this role include strategic thinking, analytical and detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, collaboration, effective communication, business acumen, adaptability, and proactivity. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools, and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be advantageous.,
