Job Description

You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience and a Master's degree in order to be considered for this position in Bangalore. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing merchandise assortment plans for all stores. - Creating appropriate buying plans for the assigned category based on sales targets. - Setting ARP (Average Retail Price) targets for product categories. - Developing option plans and conducting in-depth analysis. - Formulating stock-to-sale plans for each season end-of-month/beginning-of-month. - Calculating Open-to-Buy (OTB). - Creating buying plans, including flash line, according to current trends for A+ stores. You will also be responsible for: - Setting monthly targets for each category. - Breaking down monthly targets into product categories. - Monitoring target versus achievement. - Producing merchandise plan reports. - Analyzing product performance from last year to last year. Additionally, you will oversee: - Inventory management, ensuring ideal stock cover for each product category is maintained. - Managing dormancy and pullback within specified norms. - Providing sell-through reports for week 1 and week 2 sales, as well as photo sell-through reports. You will be in charge of: - Developing stock and sale plans for product categories. - Comparing planned versus actual results. - Allocating products to each store according to the dispatch plan and size-wise analysis. - Tracking allocation versus actual dispatches. Furthermore, you will be expected to: - Stay informed on new launches, competition products, windows, and schemes. - Conduct competition mapping. - Provide training on merchandise, product, and visual merchandising. - Estimate market trends, product trends, and design trends. Your contributions will also involve: - Monitoring and enhancing the category contribution percentage of the total business on a Last Year to Last Year (LTL) basis. - Identifying new designs to be added to this category. You will need to: - Provide range architecture for a specific season. - Create category-wise option grids based on learnings from past seasons and market forecasting. Moreover, you will be responsible for: - Planning for a successful Integrated Go-To-Market (IGTM) story along with visual merchandising and design. - Designing one key store to reflect the IGTM story. - Implementing the IGTM story across stores.,
