As an Assistant Front Office Manager at our hotel, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing front office operations and managing the team effectively. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff in areas such as Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process while prioritizing guest and employee satisfaction and optimizing departmental financial performance. In this role, you will utilize your interpersonal and communication skills to lead, motivate, and inspire team members, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. You will be responsible for supervising employees, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining open and positive relationships within the team. Monitoring and supporting progress toward guest services and front desk goals will be a key aspect of your role. You will work towards enhancing customer service by exceeding expectations, handling complaints effectively, and striving for continuous improvement. Collaborating with the Front Office Manager, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental service and achieve desired results. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will be demonstrated through your ability to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction, provide guidance and coaching to team members, and handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing customer recognition programs, ensuring compliance with Front Office policies, and monitoring credit procedures to maintain financial stability. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to handle additional tasks such as providing information to supervisors and colleagues, analyzing information to solve problems effectively, and communicating crucial updates to relevant stakeholders. You may also be required to step in for the Front Office Manager when needed and participate in department meetings.
