Job Description
The Release Train Engineer plays a meaningful role in delivering high-quality modern solutions as part of the Agile Release Train (ART). You will be accountable for acting as a servant leader and Agile coach to the teams on the ART and as a change agent, evangelizing the tenets of Agile and Scrum across Functions and Finance Risk Technology. As a Change Agent, you will support Agile teams and Portfolios to transform their behaviors toward an agile mindset and environment. You will assist in launching new Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and facilitate Planning Increment (PI) Planning, leading the successful execution of each PI to achieve its objectives. Additionally, you will facilitate program level agile ceremonies, coordinate major feature releases, and ensure ongoing value delivery to customers. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring risk and compliance goals are met, enabling the removal of impediments to team progress, maintaining metrics for successful execution, and driving continuous improvement through agility health assessments. You will facilitate communication and partnership inside and outside the ART, coach teams to adopt an agile mindset, and focus on agile values and principles resulting in the delivery of high-value increments. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 9 years of experience working in an Agile environment with a deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Scaling Agile, and Lean Agile Frameworks. You should also have experience as an Agile Coach, RTE, Scrum Master, or Product Owner of distributed Agile teams. Additionally, mindset consistent with Scrum core values, demonstrated understanding of lean agile values and principles, and expertise in facilitation, problem-solving, and influencing outcomes are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations, knowledge of multiple agile and scaling frameworks, and relevant certifications such as SAFe RTE, Scrum Master, and Agile. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required, as well as knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health, and MS Teams.
