Job Description

As the Regional Head - General Trade (IIT) for Premium Markets at Farmley, you will play a crucial role in managing a significant region for our General Trade business. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is a go-getter and a problem solver. Your role will require a sharp mind and a high degree of ownership, as well as strong leadership skills to navigate and excel in this challenging position. Your responsibilities will include establishing and managing the distributor network in the region. This involves the identification, selection, training, and onboarding of distributors in a phased manner. You will also be tasked with developing and nurturing strong relationships with CFAs, SS, and distributors across the region. Creating a Retailer Coverage Plan and Metrics for all Tier 1 towns will be essential to ensure Farmley products are available in key outlets, including Regional Modern Trade and self-service outlets. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and standardizing AVF (Availability, Visibility, and Freshness) metrics for all outlets, ensuring Planogram and MBQ compliance, and addressing stock callouts effectively. Building compliance mechanisms to address stock issues and ensuring RTV norms are followed across the network will be part of your daily activities. Managing a team of Field Sales Executives (FSE's), Territory Sales Incharges (TSI's), and Area Sales Executives (ASE's) across the region will be crucial. Your leadership style should be situational, emphasizing peak performance from every team member and nurturing a vibrant on-ground sales team. As the Regional Head, you will have P&L ownership for your region, driving both sales and gross margin targets. Planning, forecasting, and competitor analysis will also be key components of your role to ensure the success and growth of Farmley in the Premium Markets West Region.
