As a Product Development Manager, you will drive innovation across multiple categories including Skin, Hair, Deodorant and Fine Fragrances through product development and processing expertise. This position requires regular cross-functional interaction with the Marketing, Consumer insights and Supply Chain functions. Key Responsibilities Develop a thorough understanding of pre-formulations, prototyping, and product development across various formats Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least a couple of the mentioned categories are essential Building a vibrant New Product Development (NPD) pipeline based on consumer insights and category challenges Lead in pilot plant and plant-level scale-up activities, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production Streamline product design, manufacturing & industrial production processes, aligning the R&D and production teams through risk assessment. Expertise in industrial processes, product launch, production scale-up & quality. Optimize plant manufacturing processes & reproducibility. Document the product development pathway through detailed reports and dossiers. Collaborate and coordinate with various functions including Innovation/Design Team, Marketing, supply chain. Analyze and evaluate competitor products to identify potential opportunities for innovation Navigate the challenges of demonstrating strong innovative capabilities within the category by quickly spotting product opportunities and defining rapid development roadmaps Demonstrate innovative capabilities and build a robust NPD pipeline Ensure all formulations meet Regulatory standards Manage clinical trials and consumer testing for scientific product claims. Who are we looking for Education: Masters or Bachelors degree Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in formulation development and Scale-up, preferably in Skin, Hair, Deodorant and Fine Fragrances. Skills: Understanding of product formulations, consumer expectations/insights as well as gaps in delivery of existing formats Must possess sound understanding of Industrial processing, product launch, production scale-up & quality Knowledge of quality & safety standards, optimizing plant manufacturing processes & reproducibility.,
