Job Description
Should be able to take out quantities, analyse rates, negotiate best price for purchase have honesty and integrity. Be good at maths. Should be able to read and understand drawings. Having knowledge of DSR. Prepare preliminary or budgetary estimates for Civil and interior works of the project. 9-10 years of experience . Prepare detailed estimate as per design, drawing, specifications, and assumptions. Prepare Tender terms, conditions, technical specifications, and Schedules of quantities. Physical measurement of quantities at site and tracking progress. Prepare Bar Bending Schedule from GFC drawings. Co-ordinate with Client, Architect, consultants for drawing, design and material selections. Verification of contractor's running and final bills as per contract condition and specification. Prepare detailed comparative statements of quotations. Obtaining quotations and specifications from vendors for specialized items. Checking and approving quantity of nonscheduled items. Prepare and check analysis of rates of extra items. Review architectural plans / structural drawings and prepare quantity needs. Vendors Management and Maintain records and documentation of project. Tracking variation of quantities and prepare justification. Prepare and check cost effective solutions for client.
