Job Description

You will be joining a leading utilities company that specializes in delivering top-quality construction projects across various sectors. As a Quantity Surveyor, your role will be pivotal within the Project Management & Construction department. You will provide crucial cost and financial advice throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring financial efficiency across a range of projects. Collaboration with project teams will be essential to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery, while also reporting on the commercial performance of projects across the business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing cost estimates and providing commercial reporting on projects to drive cost efficiencies - Monitoring and managing project budgets in alignment with financial projections - Analyzing tender submissions and recommending improvements - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors - Maintaining detailed contract records and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions - Preparing and maintaining Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports - Identifying and addressing discrepancies between projected and actual costs - Implementing effective cost-control measures and managing project financial accountability - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and contractual risks associated with projects - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and presenting financial reports to senior management - Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to maximize cost efficiencies and cash flow - Supporting the wider business needs as required To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A minimum of 2 years of quantity surveying experience in utilities or construction - A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) - Professional accreditation with a recognized body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable - Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team - Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously This fully remote role offers: - UK-based work hours from Monday to Friday, 13:30 - 22:30 IST (08:00 am - 17:00 GMT) - Annual CTC: 8 to 11 lakhs - Laptop provided for work - Opportunity to be part of a passionate, friendly, and transparent culture that values your input for growth - Full training and continuous support - An exceptional opportunity to be a part of the UK's largest mobile servicing, maintenance, and repair business.,
