Job Description

As the individual overseeing multiple Precast Projects within L&T Construction, your primary role will involve setting benchmarks, auditing projects to ensure standardized compliance, and demonstrating the benefits of Precast Technology in various infrastructure and building construction projects across India for all L&T Construction ICs. While you will not be directly responsible for project execution, your responsibilities will include monitoring and driving Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes in Precast Construction, as well as leading the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) aspects specific to Precast Works. In terms of QA/QC responsibilities, you will collaborate with Project Teams, Site/Cluster/IC QC Teams to ensure quality-related activities meet established benchmarks. You will be tasked with establishing global QA/QC benchmarks, creating standardized Method Statements for Precast Works, defining QA/QC Evaluation Criteria for Precast Yards and Site Installation, and conducting periodic audits for compliance. Additionally, you will develop QA/QC training programs, maintain a Knowledge Bank for QA/QC issues, and oversee the implementation of Quality Management Systems on projects. Regarding Safety responsibilities, you will be accountable for the overall EHS organization for Precast Works, ensuring compliance with EHS policies and Integrated Management Systems. You will work on developing and implementing project-specific safety guidelines and procedures, reviewing risk assessments, providing site-specific training for EHS staff, and monitoring EHS performance to take necessary corrective and preventive actions. You will also be responsible for establishing emergency preparedness and response procedures at project sites. Furthermore, you will support Standardization and Modularization efforts of PWCC by collecting and analyzing data on IC-wide demands and challenges to deliver high-quality and safe products. Your role will also involve contributing to the development of innovative data collection and analysis options using IoT and AI technologies.,
