Key Responsibilities: Quality Manager- for furniture company Quality Control: In-process inspections: Inspect materials, components, and finished products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards. Quality Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of quality processes and identify areas for improvement. Material and Component Quality: Review materials and components to ensure they meet quality specifications. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality data. Data Analysis: Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Quality Assurance: Process Audits: Conduct process audits to ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and procedures. Product Audits: Evaluate the quality of finished products to ensure they meet customer expectations and industry standards. Non-Conformity Management: Handle non-conforming products, determining whether they should be rejected, reworked, or repaired, and implementing corrective actions. Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in product quality. Continuous Improvement: Training: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Waste Reduction: Develop strategies to reduce waste and improve resource utilization. Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
