About the Role We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Manager for our Client to lead the quality control and assurance processes across the garment production lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards, implementing AQL protocols, and delivering defect-free garments to global buyers. Key Responsibilities Manage quality systems across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing Ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality requirements and AQL levels Supervise inline, end-line, and final audits for all running styles. Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Work closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams for pre-production approvals Ensure documentation of quality reports and maintain buyer communication logs. Train floor staff on quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives Lead internal quality audits and prepare for third-party/buyer inspections. Monitor rejection rates, rework, and overall defect trends to improve first-pass yield. Requirements Skill Set Required Deep understanding of garment manufacturing and quality control systems (woven/knit) Strong command over AQL inspection processes and quality SOPs Familiarity with buyer audits, compliance standards, and product specifications Excellent leadership and people management skills Proficiency in MS Excel, quality dashboards, and basic ERP/QMS systems Good communication and problem-solving abilities Qualification Diploma / B.Tech in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or related field Training or certification in Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, or Lean is a plus Experience 812 years of experience in garment industry quality management Minimum 3 years in a managerial role handling export or large domestic orders,
