Job Summary: We are hiring a Civil Quality Engineer for our precast manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process by ensuring compliance with technical drawings, material specifications, and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect all stages of precast element production: mould preparation, reinforcement, concreting, curing, and demoulding. Ensure adherence to quality standards as per project specifications and industry norms (IS codes/ASTM/EN). Conduct raw material testing (cement, aggregates, steel, admixtures, etc.) and approve/reject based on results. Perform dimensional and surface finish inspections of precast components. Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, test reports, and calibration records. Coordinate with the production and design teams to ensure quality issues are addressed proactively. Supervise cube/cylinder testing and other quality control laboratory activities. Assist in third-party inspections and audits. Ensure implementation of QMS (ISO 9001) and site-specific quality plans. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. 2+ years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in a precast or concrete manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and construction materials. Familiarity with IS codes and international standards related to precast. Good communication and reporting skills. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and quality management tools. Ability to work independently and in coordination with production teams.
