Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician - Foam Industry Location: Greater Noida Department: Quality Control / Laboratory Reports to: Quality Control Manager / Quality Head Job Summary: The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for conducting routine and non-routine laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves operating lab equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in product quality. Key Responsibilities: Perform chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Calibrate and operate lab instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, titrators, balances, etc. Record and maintain test data and observations in lab logs and quality databases. Identify non-conforming products and report deviations to the QC Manager. Ensure samples are properly labeled, stored, and tracked. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area. Support in preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation when defects are found. Follow GMP, ISO, or other regulatory standards applicable to the industry. Requirements: Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control environment (preferred). Familiarity with lab safety protocols and quality systems (e.g., ISO, GMP). Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation. Working Conditions: Laboratory environment with occasional exposure to chemicals and lab equipment. May require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Shift-based or rotational work schedules depending on production needs.
