Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated components and assemblies.

• Ensure products meet defined quality standards, customer requirements, and technical specifications.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication standards.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

• Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues on the shop floor.

• Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

• Support internal audits and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Monitor welding, machining, and assembly processes for compliance with quality standards.
  
  

  Requirements:

  • Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience in quality control within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, fitting, machining).

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 documentation and basic QMS principles.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measurement tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Basic understanding of material traceability and inspection records.
