You may be who we are looking for! Summary: This position will be regular shift. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will follow written procedures to inspect wire to customer specifications by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: With moderate supervision, assist in the inspection nitinol wire products. This includes learning/operating production equipment and testing equipment. Work closely with engineers to coordinate development activities for multiple wire products. Hands-on position with development for manufacturing as the primary focus. Generate timelines, and participate in developing costing standards. Generate drafts of work instructions, and collect/analyze data. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of eight years relevant experience in a development environment or nitinol processing/manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and creative/innovative thinking. Must be capable of applying good manufacturing principles during developmental phase on anticipation of production volumes Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment required Experience with nitinol processing and relevant equipment a plus Specific experience in Minitab and Design of Experiments are a plus Confluent Medical Technologies offers very competitive compensation and benefits and is proud to have a distinguished reputation throughout the medical device industry around the world!
