Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Analyst I at our organization, you will play a crucial role in the performance testing of enterprise-level applications and products. Reporting to the performance testing lead, you will collaborate with the development team to create and implement performance test suites, analyze outcomes, and compile detailed reports. Your responsibilities will include preparing load test scripts using JMeter, conducting various types of performance tests such as load, endurance, scalability, and spike tests, analyzing results to pinpoint bottlenecks and performance issues, documenting test outcomes, logging defects in Jira, generating test data, executing test plans, and communicating results. You will actively participate in requirements reviews, story elaborations, and testing activities while closely working with developers to comprehend applications and resolve performance challenges. Moreover, your role will involve sharing insights, recommending process enhancements, and delivering test result demonstrations to stakeholders. To excel in this position, you must possess relevant experience in performance testing of critical applications, thorough knowledge of QA processes and testing methodologies, and the ability to develop workload models and gather performance requirements from stakeholders. Proficiency in creating Performance Test Plans and Reports is essential, along with hands-on experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Postman, and Insomnia. Additionally, familiarity with various protocols, API or Web services, and experience in performance monitoring and analysis using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Windows Performance Monitor, and Grafana are required.
