You'll automate repetitive tests where appropriate to eliminate wasted effort, cost and risk of manual error. Youll train and knowledge share, and be the quality conscience of the team, assisting them to write and maintain automated tests as a standard way of working. Youll also: Choose the right set of tools to help the testing and reuse existing tooling, adopting Quality centre of excellence tools where appropriate Work in conjunction with quality automation specialists in writing automated tests and analyse the results of the automated tests Execute tests on a continuous basis triggered automatically by change events Minimise the execution time for the automated tests in order to obtain quick feedback Provide metrics to the business and the team that focus on quality and quality improvement The skills you'll need You'll need an understanding of our current organisation change framework, and proven application of testing methodologies, including a range of Agile testing methods such as test driven development and behaviour driven development. You should also have proven application of a wide range of testing automation tooling, and practical experience of testing ideas, products, designs, planning and execution. Youll also need: Experience of systems development life cycle Experience in functional and non-functional testing such as system, system integration, user, load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, penetration and back-out Experience of delivering testing activities in a technology or IT function Demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team,
