Major roles and responsibilities
Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring (air, surfaces, water) in cleanrooms and production areas.
Identify and isolate microorganisms using standard microbiological techniques.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Prepare and maintain accurate records, logs, and lab reports.
Perform sterility, endotoxin, bioburden, and microbial limit tests.
Investigate microbiological deviations and support CAPA implementation.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Support validation of sterilization and aseptic processes.
Participate in audits and inspections as needed.
