Job Description: As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through both manual and automation testing. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience, you will be well-versed in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Java, and/or JavaScript for writing automation scripts. Your proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured, as well as strong database testing experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, will be essential. In this role, you will also demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile development practices and QA methodologies. Your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will be key as you work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities. You will be detail-oriented yet know when to seek help from others, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences. Desirable skills include exposure to Playwright for web automation using JavaScript, experience in mobile application testing (Android and/or iOS), familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, and experience with version control systems like Git. Additionally, experience using test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray would be beneficial.
