As a QA Manual Tester, you will leverage your 5+ years of overall experience with a focus on manual software testing, including 3+ years in a product development environment. Your expertise in software testing methodologies and best practices will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of products. Ideally, you have experience in the OTT/media domain and possess a strong understanding of streaming protocols such as DASH and HLS. Your proficiency in testing live, VOD, and DVR streaming will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA or similar platforms is required to streamline the testing process effectively. Your role will demand excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written, will be essential for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
