As a QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and bug-free operation of our web and mobile applications. Your primary responsibility will be to test apps developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) as well as Android, iOS, and Java-based applications. Your expertise in MySQL and tools like SQL Workbench will be essential for this role. Your tasks will include testing web and mobile apps for performance, bugs, and usability, verifying front-end and back-end functionality, testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger, writing and executing detailed test cases for key features, using Appium, Android Studio, and Xcode Simulator to test mobile apps, running SQL queries on MySQL databases using SQL Workbench, and collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure quality delivery. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in manual and automated testing, a solid understanding of the MERN stack, hands-on experience with testing Android, iOS, and Java applications, proficiency in MySQL and SQL Workbench, familiarity with JIRA, Git, and bug tracking tools, strong skills in API testing, test case writing, and execution, excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills, a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality and user experience, and a strong team player mindset.
