Description What are we looking for At Checkmarx, we are a Research & Development team responsible for developing Plugins & Integrations that bring the capabilities of CheckmarxOne, our cloud-native AppSec platform to common developer workflows and pipelines (IDEs and CI/CD platforms). We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer in Test with proven experience in manual as well automated testing. How will you make an impact In this role you will be responsible for: Working closely with Product Management, architects, and developers Understanding the business and technical requirements of existing and new products & features. Writing test plans, running manual and automated tests Developing new automation tests Maintaining & managing existing automation projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements What is needed to succeed MCA or B.E. in Computer Science/IT or equivalent. 0 to 1 year of SDET experience, including both manual and automated testing. Prior knowledge/experience in one of automation testing frameworks: Cypress/Selenium/Playwright will be a plus. Any one of the programming languages for test automation: JS/Golang/Java/Python/C#. Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience working in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.) advantage. Practical experience with configuration and maintenance of CI environments advantage Able to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized. Analytic approach for troubleshooting and problem solving. Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing). What we have to offer,
