You are a skilled QA / Data Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, joining a team focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of data-driven applications. Your expertise lies in manual testing and SQL, with additional knowledge in automation and performance testing being highly valuable. Your responsibilities include performing thorough testing and validation to guarantee the integrity of the applications. Your must-have skills include extensive experience in manual testing within data-centric environments, strong SQL skills for data validation and querying, familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing, experience in Geo-Spatial data, a solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices for software and data testing, and excellent communication skills. It would be beneficial for you to have experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium and JUnit for data pipelines, knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner for evaluating data systems, familiarity with data engineering tools and platforms like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Hadoop, understanding of cloud-based data solutions like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with their testing methodologies.
