Job Description

As a QA Analyst II at Quorum Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions for the energy industry. You will be responsible for adhering to coding, scripting, and documentation standards while estimating and breaking down tasks effectively. Your attention to detail will be essential as you prepare and maintain documents, flow charts, and test data to describe functionality and logic. Your role will involve contributing to automation test script writing and execution, as well as exploring new tools and techniques to enhance our automation framework. You will participate in scrum teams, defining test plans, test cases, and procedures to validate requirements and ensure software quality. Reporting failures and bugs, prioritizing investigations, and collaborating with team members will be a key part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science and at least 3 years of experience in software testing for Windows applications or software life cycle management. Your expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and TestNG will be instrumental in performing system, exploratory, regression, and acceptance level testing. Your ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing techniques quickly will be highly valuable. Your innovative and analytical abilities, coupled with your understanding of testing throughout the software life cycle, will contribute to the success of our projects. You should be familiar with automation test script writing, black box testing, and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts. Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Agile methodology will be beneficial in this role. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication within our global team.
