Job Description
The primary role of this position is to plan, author, and administer software test plans to detect and diagnose errors and bugs in applications before installation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, product managers, system architects, and business analysts to develop effective strategies, reviewing business requirements and functional specification design documents, and analyzing them to create test scripts. You will prepare test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports for functional, GUI, and regression testing using both automated and manual methods. The creation of a Requirement Traceability Matrix between Requirements and Test Cases will also be part of your role. You will perform regression, integration, platform, and performance testing to ensure the stability and usability of the software. Additionally, you will conduct cross-browser testing to verify the functionality of web applications and detect software failures for timely correction. Documenting testing phases, defects, and collaborating with business and developers in bug triage are essential aspects of this role. Comprehensive software release documentation and training support staff based on QA test outcomes will also be your responsibility. Participation in standup and QA meetings to provide updates on test planning, retrospective, QA status, bug status, and test case coverage status is required. Performing Smoke Testing on Production and shadowing Senior QA Acon in daily roles and responsibilities will be part of your routine tasks. In terms of technical and interpersonal skills, prior experience in Quality Assurance Testing is necessary. Experience in HRMS and SAP Success Factors will be an added advantage. Proficiency in using defect tracking tools, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality are essential. Demonstrating personal drive, positive work ethic, and delivering results within tight deadlines and demanding situations are key attributes. Building strong professional relationships globally, problem-solving skills, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently are crucial. Adaptability to various engagement types, working hours, environments, and locations is expected, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across cultures. A Bachelor of Engineering or Technology is a mandatory educational requirement for this position.,
