We are looking for a talented Software Developer to contribute to our current and upcoming Python/Django projects. Your primary responsibilities will include writing and modifying code to build websites and software, fixing errors, enhancing performance, and adding new features.

Responsibilities

You will work under a project manager on specific projects. At times, you may need to communicate directly with clients to clarify requirements not covered during the initial analysis. Success in this role requires extensive knowledge of Python and Django, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.

•  Add new features to existing software/websites
• Modify software to fix errors and improve performance
• Report project/task status to the project manager
• Conduct developer-level testing and validations
• Collaborate with project managers, team members, and clients to analyze and implement features
• Analyze and implement assigned tasks after discussing with the technical architect

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python/Django
• Proficiency with Django Rest Framework
• Experience with Django ORM and default template engine
• Familiarity with Docker, Elasticsearch, Celery, and caching frameworks
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience with Angular or ReactJs is a plus
• Ability to write unit tests
• Strong communication skills
• Effective team player
