Job Description
The Senior Python Automation Tester position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Python Automation Testing. The role can be performed either remotely or onsite. As a Senior Python Automation Tester, your main responsibilities will include conducting Backend Automation Testing of microservices and APIs, creating and maintaining Python scripts for automation, and collaborating with RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services. You must possess a strong understanding of SQL and be proficient in working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and AWS RDS. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize tools like PyTest or other Python-based testing frameworks, have experience with version control tools like Git, and have exposure to AWS services and containerized environments such as Kubernetes. Key Skills required for this role include being well-versed in Backend Testing of services and APIs, proficient in handling JSON and validating REST APIs, having hands-on experience with PyTest or similar testing frameworks, proficient in writing complex SQL queries, and familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, and AWS databases. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and cloud deployments are also essential for this role. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and possess good communication skills.
