Job Title: Purchase Executive Experience: 2years Location : Chennai Salary : 2.5 LPA Working : 6 Days Key Responsibilities: Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with quality and cost expectations. Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and consumables to support uninterrupted production. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. Develop and maintain vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies. Raise Purchase Orders (POs), follow up for delivery, and ensure proper documentation. Track market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and better vendor terms. Handle procurement of engineering spares, packaging material, and other plant-related purchases. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields). 24 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of GST, POs, Invoicing, and ERP software is an advantage. Ability to handle multiple vendors and maintain proper documentation.
