Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment needed for business operations. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Inventory and Stock Control: Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid shortages. Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock efficiently. Vendor Management: Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability. Maintain a database of approved vendors and update regularly. Purchase Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and pricing. Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. Budget and Cost Control: Adhere to procurement budgets and suggest cost-saving measures where applicable. Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws in procurement processes. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including invoices, receipts, and contracts.Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments like finance, operations, and production to align procurement with business needs. Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes.
