We are currently seeking a Purchase Manager with deep expertise in high-value, A-class commodities Engines, Transmissions, Axles, Hydraulic Components. Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India Department: Supply Chain Management Experience: 1215 Years Industry Preference: Construction Equipment | Off-Highway | Tractors | Heavy Engineering Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing Own procurement of Engines, Transmissions, Valves, and other critical parts Supplier Management Track QCDD & OTIF, manage vendor performance Cost Optimization Lead VE/VA, localization, and total landed cost initiatives Planning & Execution Ensure on-time component availability aligned with production needs SAP & Analytics Manage procurement data and generate actionable insights Inventory Optimization Collaborate with Planning & Production to ensure smooth material flow Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Design, Production, Quality, Stores, and Finance Leadership Mentor team members and ensure compliance with company standards Candidate Profile Education: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical or related field Experience: 1215 years in procurement of: Powertrain & Hydraulics Engines, Transmissions, Axles, Valves, Pumps, Cylinders Running Gear Tyres, Rims Raw Materials HR Coils, HR Plates, Seamless Pipes, EN19 Round Domain: Preferably from Construction Equipment, Off-Highway, Tractor, or Heavy Engineering industries Tools: Proficient in SAP, Excel, data analytics and AI Key Skills & Attributes Results-oriented with a strong drive for achieving targets. High level of integrity and ethical conduct. Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs Strong leadership potential and ability to influence stakeholders.
