Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals. Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, stores) to understand material requirements. Stay updated with market trends, price fluctuations, and new product developments. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and maintain procurement KPIs.
