As a Print and Organize Document Specialist at Marriott International, your primary responsibility will be to print and organize various necessary documents, summarize relevant information, and distribute information to appropriate employees. You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of company safety programs within your assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. It will be essential to adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas. Your role will also involve maintaining clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly. You will be responsible for calculating figures for inventories, orders, and costs, as well as conducting inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs. Furthermore, verifying and tracking received inventory, reconciling shipping invoices and receiving reports, receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, and monitoring PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in assisting management in training, scheduling, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees. You will be expected to serve as a role model, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, completing safety training and certifications, and following all company policies and procedures will also be among your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be required to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and communicate effectively using clear and professional language. Physical requirements may include standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and maneuvering through various spaces. To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
