As a Purchasing Executive at MAS Prana India (Pvt) Ltd, Maraimalai Nagar, you will be an integral part of the Procurement team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire procurement process for raw materials and supplies. Your role will involve ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and quality compliance to support production continuity. To excel in this role, you should possess a Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management along with at least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the apparel or manufacturing sector. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing inventory levels, building strong supplier relationships, and aligning procurement activities with company policies and systems. You must have strong negotiation and supplier management skills, along with a working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. A solid understanding of apparel production processes and material requirements is essential. Additionally, excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role. You should be adept at handling pressure and efficiently managing multiple priorities. This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotational shift schedule.
