As a Purchase Engineer in Ahmedabad / Kheda, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of procurement, supplier management, and vendor development. With a minimum of 5 to 7 years of industry experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cost reduction, contract management, and inventory management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating good knowledge about casting & machining processes - Preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to potential suppliers - Evaluating proposals, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with selected suppliers or vendors - Ensuring that suppliers adhere to quality standards, timelines, and contractual agreements - Monitoring the progress of outsourced work through site visits, virtual coordination, and regular reporting - Tracking delivery milestones and ensuring suppliers meet their commitments - Addressing any issues or bottlenecks that arise during outsourced work, such as material shortages or quality problems - Maintaining reports on supplier performance, delivery status, and project progress - Communicating effectively with internal teams and suppliers to keep everyone informed on a regular basis - Staying updated with the latest market trends in materials, processes, and systems - Utilizing Microsoft Office tools and presentation skills Additionally, it would be beneficial if you: - Are trained as an internal auditor for an ISO system - Possess working knowledge of an ERP system If you are looking to join immediately and have a passion for supplier management and procurement, this role offers a salary of 35,000 INR per month.,
