Job Description
Undertake raptor research and conservation work to assess status of their populations, distribution and factors affecting their long-term survival. Ensure timely implementation of the activities. Coordinate with various Govt. department(s), and community groups and other stakeholders for planning out and timely implementation of the activities. Identify and work with partners and stakeholders to promote raptor conservation Identify solutions for raptor conservation based on work on the ground and consultation with key stakeholders. Coordinate with supervisors, as well as communication team at WWF-India Secretariat for communicating progress as well as success stories. Represent WWF-India at relevant fora and build its network with key players in the sector. Any other task that is given by the organization for meeting its objectives. Requirements Masters or higher qualification in the field of ecology/wildlife/environment Experience in raptor research or avian ecology and conservation Data collection and analysis, report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.,
