You will be joining the NPD Department - EV & HEV at the Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu, India. Your role will involve delivering new products, upgrades, and refreshes while meeting QCD targets and Gate adherence. You will be responsible for integrated project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, as well as facilitating the CFT team to achieve project KPIs and resolve conflicts. Additionally, you will deploy target cost and quality-RDML targets to the system level and part level, prepare management reports, escalate issues for resolution, and manage stakeholders from various functions such as R&D COC, Quality, Production Engineering, Supply Chain, Software Development, Marketing, and Service. To excel in this role, you should hold a BE/BTech/MTech qualification and possess functional competencies in customer and market understanding, industry trends, and best practices. You should have knowledge of EV product technology, power electronics, electrical system integration software, and connected technology. Understanding product and manufacturing processes, as well as supply chain knowledge, will be essential. Proficiency in project, product, and program planning and management, along with problem-solving skills and risk analysis, is required. A Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification will be advantageous. In addition to your technical competencies, you should exhibit various behavioral competencies such as decision-making, teamwork, confidence, technical know-how, and self-motivation. Interpersonal competencies like high energy levels, effective communication, teamwork, persuasiveness, and problem-solving skills are crucial.
