Job Description

As a Business Development Manager specializing in Project and EPC sales for a Solar company based in Delhi, your primary responsibilities will include identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and converting them into sales. You will be required to contact new and existing customers to understand their needs, showcase the product features that address their problems, and provide detailed information about the products. Your role will also involve negotiating prices and terms with customers, maintaining contact lists, and following up with customers to nurture relationships. Achieving Order Booking Targets with the required margins as per the agreed Business Plan will be a key performance indicator. Additionally, you will need to review competition analysis, develop counter strategies for winning, and identify project risks along with proposing mitigation measures. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in engineering and have at least 4-5 years of experience in Sales of Solar Power Plants within the Private Sector. Proficient knowledge of Solar project engineering, procurement, and construction processes/procedures is essential. Familiarity with CRM systems is also required. In addition to your qualifications and skills, you are expected to have a positive attitude, knowledge of the local language, be self-driven, and capable of working independently in this position. The working location for this role is Delhi/NCR.
