You will be responsible for collaborating with project staff to develop a strategic action plan and cost estimates for project execution. This includes analyzing materials, equipment, and practices, assessing vendors, and supervising project progress. You will also be required to compare actual project costs to estimates, identify areas for improvement, and prepare progress reports for leadership. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with codes and best practices, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with other project engineers. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong budgeting and cost containment abilities, exceptional organizational and time management skills, as well as proficiency in analytical and problem-solving techniques. Strong supervisory and leadership skills are essential for effectively managing project teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required to fulfill the responsibilities efficiently.
