Join our team as a Project and Engagement Manager and take charge of coordinating impactful research initiatives and driving capacity-building engagement. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the leadership team (reporting directly to the Executive Director), manage cross-sectoral projects, and interact with the broader research and education community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management skills and possess a strong understanding of the research and education ecosystem. You will be responsible for effectively tracking, coordinating, and managing review cycles for research projects across the organization, ensuring timely progress and alignment with institutional goals. You will collaborate with Principal Investigators, Group Heads, and Sector Heads to coordinate technical and project review processes internally. Additionally, you will represent the Executive Director's office in cross-sectoral initiatives and manage project review cycles for the Committee of Directors. Externally, you will work closely with the Executive Director, Sector Heads, and Group Heads to coordinate engagement with external entities on capacity-building initiatives. Your role will involve identifying new opportunities for external engagement and partnership in capacity-building efforts. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 8 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a project management role, preferably within a research environment. Your skill set should include excellent project management skills, familiarity with the research and education ecosystem, strong coordination and stakeholder engagement abilities, the ability to manage review cycles for research projects and initiatives, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. The compensation offered for this role is INR 1520 lakh per annum, and the location of the job is Bengaluru.
