Job Description
Job Description: Forbes Advisor is a high-growth digital media and technology company that empowers consumers to make confident decisions about money, health, careers, and everyday life. Our global data organization builds modern, AI-augmented pipelines that turn information into revenue-driving insight. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to orchestrate complex, cross-functional data initiatives, from revenue-pipeline automation to analytics product launches. As the Program Manager, you will serve as the connective tissue between Data Engineering, Analytics, RevOps, Product, and external partners, ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact. If you excel at translating vision into executable roadmaps, proactively mitigating risks, and effectively communicating with both technical and business audiences, we would be thrilled to meet you. Key Responsibilities: - Own program delivery for multi-team data products such as revenue-data pipelines, attribution models, and partner-facing reporting APIs. - Develop and maintain integrated roadmaps, ensuring alignment between sprint plans, funding, and resource commitments. - Lead agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and track metrics such as velocity, burn-down, and cycle-time. - Provide transparent status reporting on risks, dependencies, and OKRs tailored for various stakeholders. - Proactively remove blockers by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. - Drive process optimization initiatives including intake, prioritization, change management, and post-mortems. - Collaborate with RevOps and Media teams to ensure that program outputs result in revenue growth and improved decision-making. - Ensure launch readiness through QA checklists, enablement materials, and go-live runbooks for new data products. - Foster a culture of documentation, psychological safety, and continuous improvement within the data organization. Experience Required: - 7+ years of program or project-management experience in data, analytics, SaaS, or high-growth tech. - Demonstrated success in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives within aggressive timelines. - Expertise in agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and modern collaboration tools (Jira, Asana, Notion/Confluence, Slack). - Strong understanding of data & cloud concepts including pipelines, ETL/ELT, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow/Composer. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate communication between technical teams and business leaders. - Risk-management mindset with the ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks before escalation. - Experience working across different time zones and cultures in a remote-first environment. Nice to Have: - Formal certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent. - Familiarity with GCP services, Looker/Tableau, or marketing-data stacks (Google Ads, Meta, GA4). - Exposure to revenue operations, performance marketing, or subscription/affiliate business models. - Background in change-management or process-improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Perks: - Monthly long weekends with every third Friday off. - Fitness and commute reimbursement. - Remote-first culture with flexible hours and a high-trust environment. - Opportunity to shape a world-class data platform within a trusted global brand. - Collaboration with talented engineers, analysts, and product leaders who value innovation and impact.
