This position is for immediate joiners based in Bangalore with a hybrid work mode for an MNC client. The role is contract to hire and requires a candidate with an engineering background and at least 5 years of experience in project management. You should have hands-on experience managing microservices architecture projects and data center initiatives such as migrations, capacity upgrades, and cloud integrations. As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include leading end-to-end project execution for microservices transformation initiatives and data center build-outs/migrations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups using Agile/Scrum frameworks are essential. You will need to develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, manage risks, track dependencies, and handle escalations effectively. Transparent reporting through Jira dashboards, Confluence documentation, and executive status updates is crucial. Ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and SLAs throughout the project lifecycle is also expected. You should track and manage changes in scope, budget, and timelines using structured change control processes and foster continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives and incorporating lessons learned. Required qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred), along with 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in technology environments. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery tools is necessary. A solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is also required. Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are a must, along with a proven track record in delivering projects on time, in scope, and on budget. Preferred qualifications include PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks, experience working in a hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure environment, and a technical background or hands-on experience in application development or system engineering.,
