Mahindra University is inviting applications for a Professor of Practice position in Construction Planning and Management (CPM). The successful candidate will be instrumental in bridging the gap between industry practices and academic preparation. Job Title: Professor of Practice in Construction Planning and Management Department: Civil Engineering/Construction Management Location: Hyderabad Responsibilities: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Construction Planning, Project Management, Construction Technology, and related subjects. Assist in the improvement and updating of the construction management curriculum to align with industry standards and technological advancements. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, hands-on labs, and project-based learning. Develop and implement experiential learning opportunities, including lab exercises, site visits, and simulation activities. Provide academic advising to students, helping them plan their coursework and navigate their academic journey. Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of industry experience. Masters degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field (Ph.D. preferred but not required). Significant professional experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project management and leadership. Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
