As a Solution Architect for the Uptime and Driver Safety domain team, you will play a crucial role in leading a strategically important product designed to support drivers in achieving efficiency and safety while driving. Working closely with the product owner, you will be responsible for owning and driving the product roadmap to meet the expectations of business stakeholders and engineers. Your focus will be on driver efficiency and safety, guiding the product through all stages from concept to delivery, including budget forecasting and follow-up to ensure the delivery of great value. Key Responsibilities: Roadmap & Backlog Management: Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and various business areas to define the product and technical roadmap. Prioritize the team's backlog with a long-term perspective, ensuring alignment with user needs, business strategy, and evolving technology landscape. Ensure the team understands the architectural, design, and technical requirements necessary for delivering high-quality solutions. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a bridge between enterprise architects and the development team to foster a collaborative environment and build strong relationships across departments. Play a key role in ensuring transparent, effective communication and stakeholder alignment. Ownership: Take full ownership of the product, driving continuous improvements in team processes and outcomes. Implement scalable, reusable systems and tools to reduce complexity. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security standards. Participate actively in the Architecture Committee and support team manager in developing team competencies. End-to-End Responsibility: Lead priorities that involve cross-team coordination and ensure underlying component strategies support end-to-end goals. Collaborate with other product owners/managers to deliver holistic solutions and conduct competitor and market analysis for your product area. Innovation & Community Building: Encourage innovation and support unique use cases to accelerate value delivery. Create a culture of learning and experimentation to empower engineers. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to build a vibrant and engaged developer community. Technology Expectations: - Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture. - Proficiency with databases such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL. - Experience working in AWS or other cloud-based virtual environments. - Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD tools, and DevOps best practices. - Working knowledge of SAFE Agile (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies for delivering at scale.
