Job Description
Shift In-charge for Molding Produces quality parts as outlined by the Molding Manager and Quality Control. Works with all shifts to ensure smooth transitions and communications. Informs the Process Engineer of any mold or molding issues. Works with Maintenance on any mold machine issues to ensure minimum downtime. Ensures that required production forms are completed and delivered to the proper departments. Responsible for handling manpower in shifts and resolving their issues related to process and product. Supervises daily molding areas including: satisfying internal quality customer requirements, ensuring reporting production transactions are accurately logged, and sending finished goods, and WIP products to correct locations. Maintain shift wise OEE and focus over variables as per OEE matrix. Responsible 5S in shop and control 1S and 2S shift wise. Responsible for HPR and DPR maintenance in respective shifts. Responsible for maintaining breakdown books for both machines and tools with the concerned department. Responsible for smooth shift handover and take over. Responsible for motivating operators to give kaizen ideas on a monthly basis.
