Overview: We are seeking a Production Merchandiser who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of product planning, development, and execution. Roles & Responsibilities: The candidate must have a strong knowledge of different types of garments, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials and production services. Overseeing the creation of pre-production samples to ensure design accuracy and customer approval. Manage the development and approval process for prototypes and samples. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Ensure products meet quality standards at all stages of production. Implement corrective actions for quality issues to maintain product integrity. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, production schedules, and shipment details. The candidate should have prior experience in fabrics, preferably in exports. Able to work independently as well as with the merchandising team. Candidate must have strong negotiation and coordination skills. The candidate should be open to both office-based tasks and fieldwork. Desired Candidate Profile: A minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandising, product sourcing, and value addition is required. Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery.
