Job Description

The main goal of this role is to execute and monitor the allocated production orders within your responsible area to ensure the timely availability of the requested quantity and quality. It is important to effectively mobilize resources and manpower while taking precautionary measures to control or avoid environmental pollution. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quantity, quality, and timeliness of seed production, providing adequate and timely reports to Deputy NW Manager or Production Officer, reporting field activities accurately and promptly to ensure Intellectual Property (IP) protection, handling production plots carefully for the right quality and quantity, and producing disease-free seeds with effective hygiene practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing agreements with growers for production orders, ensuring compliance with policies such as the prohibition of child labor during production activities, and monitoring fields effectively according to CLAP policy. Key skills expected from you include knowledge of the crop and growing practices within the assigned area, familiarity with production research practices and field plot techniques, the ability to align company needs with those of contracted internal customers, leadership skills, teamwork, effective communication, social versatility, and basic computer skills.
