Job Description:
The Product Owner - role will appeal to someone who thrives working in a fast-moving sales environment at the forefront of opportunity forecasting, reporting, and business analysis. Direct daily interaction with senior sales management and sales teams means that you will rapidly grow to understand the significance of the Renewals business to the bottom line, and you will help shape key planning activities such as target-setting and territory coverage. You will grow to become a valued business partner and respected operations expert for geography.

Responsibilities:  

  • The core responsibility is managing the weekly forecast process. You will work with your sales business partner as well as our outsourced sales function, in reviewing deals in Salesforce.com, making sure the necessary adjustments to value and closure dates are performed to ensure accuracy and accountability of the numbers as we progress through the quarter. You are the independent eyes and ears of the forecast which ultimately rolls up to WW.
  • You will provide valuable, actionable insights on the business through standard reports and dashboards that you not only will leverage, but in certain cases help define and build to manage the complexities and changing nature of the Renewals business.
  • The role is focused on lower- to mid-value, high-volume deals. Additionally, it is the area where the implementation of the new pivot programs is performed.
  • You will work closely with our outsourced sales function to manage this business and provide analysis and insights on performance through weekly reviews, Deep Dive inspections (twice per quarter), and other ad-hoc reports.
  • Each quarter-end/quarter start you will work with the sales leadership team in defining and producing the Quarterly Business Review (QBR)    deck. This is a critical process and checkpoint throughout the year and the information and analysis are reviewed at WW level. A passion for accuracy and being able to analyze and interpret large volumes of raw data are essential prerequisites.
  • Renewals Operations team is part of a global organization the expectation is that you will work collaboratively with your colleagues and peers in other geographies in order that we leverage best practices, maximize resource utilization and stay focused on standardization, automation, and improved user experiences for our sales teams. Typically, 10-15%    of the successful candidate’s time will be spent on global initiatives that drive this.


Experience:

  1. 4+ Experience in CPQ facilitating renewal quotes and pricing with current or new customers at a high volume   
  2. Experience using Salesforce CPQ      
  3. Ability to manage and negotiate a high volume of renewal quotes
  4. Strong data analysis skills
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  6. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
