Job Description
As the Lead Product Owner for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in owning and managing the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include defining, prioritizing, and refining user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria with a focus on business value and technical feasibility. Collaborating closely with development, UX, and marketing teams is essential to ensure sprint commitments and timely delivery of high-quality features. You will act as the bridge between the development team and business leaders, facilitating clear communication of priorities and expected outcomes. Leading customer and stakeholder meetings, providing updates, gathering feedback, and adjusting priorities accordingly are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will lead Scrum teams as a Product Owner, overseeing effective sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Removing blockers, identifying risks early, and implementing risk mitigation strategies are crucial for ensuring smooth project execution. You will drive an agile mindset, fostering continuous improvement in delivery processes and team collaboration. Working with marketing teams, you will optimize workflows for AEM Assets, Sites, and DAM strategy to ensure faster time-to-market. Staying ahead of industry trends and innovations is vital to continuously enhancing AEM capabilities within the organization. Defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AEM implementations will be part of your responsibilities. Conducting value realization assessments post go-live to demonstrate business impact and ROI to stakeholders is also essential. As a thought leader in digital experience management, you will influence stakeholders on AEM best practices and innovations. Leveraging your expertise in the content supply chain, you will drive operational efficiency in content creation, management, and delivery. Mentoring and guiding junior Product Owners and team members to foster a strong learning culture will be integral to your role. Leading internal knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to elevate AEM expertise across teams is another key responsibility. Your qualifications should include 10+ years of experience in digital product management, with at least 5+ years as a Product Owner. Proven expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and strong understanding of Agile methodologies are necessary. Experience in leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives with a focus on content strategy and content supply chain is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution. Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments engaging with marketing, business, and technology teams will be beneficial. Certification in Adobe Experience Manager Business Practitioner and Agile certifications are preferred but not mandatory for this role. Adobe is dedicated to making Adobe.com accessible to all users.
