Role:-Product Development Engineer Education :-B.Tech /B.E. in Any Specialization Experience: Min. 3 years Location-Pune Preferably in automotive industry. Skill- Turbocharger , IC Engine. Job description We are hiring skilled Development Engineer is responsible for Turbocharger Development includes base Product for applications for Light and/or Commercial vehicle engines with end-to-end ownership from concept definition to Series of production. Create robust technical solutions and responses to customer RFQs, Proto sample development & testing, APQP, DVP&R, Engineering Release (Drawing / tech report etc.) Drive cost reduction/ localization ideas, Lead product launch & Field issue resolution. Coordinate with CFT (Sales, Program Management, Quality, Supply chain, Manufacturing Engineering etc.) for successfully launch of project from Initial offering to till SOP (Phase 1 to Phase 5). Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings of turbocharger components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies in accordance with Garrett design standards and ASME. 5 Ensuring fit & function of all components and assemblies. Key Skills and Knowledge;- Automotive domain knowledge included knowledge of IC engines, Air/Fuel management systems, Engine test procedures and results analysis. Knowledge on instrumentations and sensors. Knowledge of casting, machining, stamping processes. Design skills, GD&T etc. Advanced user of 3D CAD for industrial design (both 3D/2D), preferable On shape, Catia. Ability to perform Stack-up and built assembly layouts.
